Job Title: CNA/CENA

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled CNA/CENA to join our team at Heartwood Lodge in Spring Lake, MI.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a CNA/CENA, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living functions, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the admission, transfer, and discharge process for residents
  • Assist residents with daily living functions, such as dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, and shaving
  • Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
  • Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed, including daily Range of Motion Exercises
  • Record data as instructed and answer resident calls promptly

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current, unencumbered, active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant in this state or certificate of completion of state-approved nurse aide training program
  • Minimum of one year of experience within a healthcare setting preferred
  • Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred
  • Superior customer service skills and professionalism
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to ongoing change and work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
