LVN Primary Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled LVN to join our team at Sharp Community Medical Group. As a primary care LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
- Prepare rooms for visits and procedures with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Perform basic nursing procedures, including thermal applications, non-sterile soaks, and application of simple dressings.
- Monitor medical conditions of patients and report changes to appropriate personnel.
- Take patient's vital signs and provide personal care to patients.
- Responsible for accurate administration of medications and collection/handling of lab specimens.
- Provide health care instruction to patients and family members.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of patients' medical records and handle patient records confidentially.
- Document transactions, telephone conversations, observations, and orders in patient's medical record according to the clinic's policies and procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent certification required.
- California State LVN Licensure and CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience required.
- 1+ years of nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPPA regulations.
- Knowledge of OSHA and Cal-OSHA safety and hazard regulations.
- Knowledge of medical insurances.
- Experience in providing patient care to newborns, children, adolescents, and adults.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Thorough and organized with patient care and file maintenance.
- Ability to maintain a calm manner and patience when working with patients, employees, and physicians.
- High level of customer service.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
