Job Overview

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Professional to join their Thoracic Surgery team in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide surgical assistance and pre and postoperative patient care, including test interpretation and patient referral under the supervision of a surgeon. A strong understanding of cardiac surgery patient care and proficiency in performing endovascular vein harvest are essential qualifications.

Key Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate degree program that meets licensure requirements in the state of employment
  • National Certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
