Janitorial Assistant

Park Place of Elmhurst is a premier senior living community that offers a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents enjoy access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Full-time Janitor to support our mission to deliver quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards.
- Perform daily maintenance and janitorial services as directed by the Environmental Director, Nursing Services, and Administrator.
- Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions.
- Discard waste and trash into proper containers and reline with plastic liners.
- Ensure that work and assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to deal with other personnel, residents, family members, and visitors in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Previous janitorial experience preferred.
