We are seeking a highly skilled Sports Medicine Specialist to join our team at Indiana University Health. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in assessing, treating, and rehabilitating athletic injuries under the guidance of a licensed physician.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat athletic injuries, including musculoskeletal and other conditions, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including rehabilitation programs, to help patients recover from injuries and return to their athletic activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, physical therapists, and other athletic trainers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of sports medicine programs, including injury prevention and education initiatives.
- Provide athletic training services for various events, including sports competitions, community events, and outreach programs.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
- Indiana State Athletic Training Licensure or eligibility required.
- Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer certification.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross Professional Rescuer certification.
- 0-3 years of experience in athletic training or a related field.
