About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Architect to lead our technology strategy and drive the development of our data, advanced analytics, and GenAI initiatives. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will be responsible for aligning our technology strategy with business goals, developing robust data solutions, and ensuring efficient, high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the overall technology strategy and architectural vision in line with business goals and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, coding standards, and development methodologies.
- Collaborate with product management and executive leadership to define and prioritize technical initiatives, considering both short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions that meet customer needs and align with architectural standards.
- Drive innovation and keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our technical capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Oversee architectural reviews, code reviews, and system performance analysis to ensure adherence to quality standards and optimization of system performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning among technical teams, promoting cross-functional communication and the exchange of ideas.
- Evaluate and select technology vendors, tools, and frameworks that align with the architectural vision and provide strategic advantage to the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate technical risks, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, security standards, and compliance requirements to ensure our solutions meet necessary standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; relevant technical certification is a plus.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in software development, with a strong focus on architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale enterprise systems.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, driving technical strategy, and guiding engineering teams.
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, architectural patterns, and best practices.
- Strong expertise in system architecture, cloud computing, distributed systems, and integration technologies.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically while paying attention to details.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical team members, executives, and customers.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of security principles, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability in software design.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, foster a culture of technical excellence, and stay abreast of emerging technologies.
