Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced property management professional to join our team at Lakemont Orchard in Issaquah, WA.
About the Role:The Assistant Property Manager will assist the Community Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property, including but not limited to:
- Assisting in the training and development of the team
- Reviewing daily rent recommendations and identifying opportunities to maximize income
- Collecting current and delinquent rent in accordance with company and property policy
- Implementing timely legal action, including court appearances
- Posting invoices and using purchase orders
- Coding invoices with correct General Ledger (GL) coding
- Submitting security deposit reconciliation timely
- Reviewing move in and move out files for thorough and accurate completion
- Verifying information is timely and accurately entered into the property software system
- Completing or verifying completion of accurate and timely weekly reports
- Reviewing monthly financial reports with the property manager
- Assisting in completing variance reports
- Assisting the Community Manager in resolving resident and prospective resident conflicts
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Related property management experience with the ability to pass a fair housing exam
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of operations software used at the property level, including Yardi, CRM, and Rent Cafe
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Current driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as job requires
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a 401(K) match, rental incentive, and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits, and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
