Professor and Chair of Neurology

We are seeking a distinguished Professor and Chair of Neurology to lead our department's academic, clinical, and research programs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in the academic setting, with a strong background in neurology and a demonstrated ability to foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equity.
Key Responsibilities:
The Professor and Chair of Neurology will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic planning and new initiatives to enhance the department's portfolio of clinical, academic, and research programs. They will also spearhead advancement and innovation in clinical care through collaboration with other disciplines, and lead integration and coordination of all clinical services and programs among the affiliated hospitals and clinics.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must be board certified in Neurology, eligible for licensure in the State of Florida, and for appointment at the rank of professor. They must have a distinguished record in one or more areas of research, teaching, clinical care, and administration. Candidates with prior experience in a multi-disciplinary setting, demonstrated leadership and management competencies, and national recognition in one or more areas of Neurology will be viewed most favorably.
