Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at Emory University. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge research project focused on Long COVID care clinics and participate in the AHRQ Long COVID Learning Community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct applied mixed methods design and health surveillance data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of Long COVID care clinics.
  • Collaborate with local and national Long COVID patient advocates and community partners to support a mission to improve access to coordinated person-centered Long COVID healthcare.
  • Participate in research using primary and secondary data, manuscript preparation and writing, and grant writing in a collaborative environment.
  • Lead the iterative mixed methods programmatic evaluation of the Emory and Grady Long COVID care clinics and provide feedback to stakeholders to improve local healthcare provision.
  • Participate in the AHRQ Long COVID Learning Community cross-recipient secondary analysis to identify barriers and facilitators of quality Long COVID care delivery across all nine Long COVID Centers of Excellence.
Requirements
  • A doctoral degree or equivalent (Ph.D., M.D., ScD., D.V.M., DDS etc) in an appropriate field.
  • Excellent scientific writing ability and strong oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues.
