Job Title: Golf Course Grounds Maintenance

Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club is seeking a reliable and skilled Golf Course Grounds Maintenance professional to join our team. As a Golf Course Grounds Maintenance worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the 18-hole Arthur Hills designed golf course in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate large mowers, tractors, and other light equipment to maintain the golf course.
  • Check fluid levels before operating any machine and report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
  • Return all equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility and wash equipment at the end of each day.
  • Maintain teeing grounds, weed tee surrounds and other turf areas, and plant bushes, shrubs, and other native plants.
  • Edge, rake, and maintain sand bunkers, edge cart paths and around fairway yardage markers, and hand rake leaves and other debris.
  • Apply divot mix to driving range tee and other tees on the golf course, fill divot bottles with divot mix, and weed eat around trees, bunkers, and cart path curbs.
  • Mow greens with a walking greens mower, mow tees with a walking mower, and green approaches with the riding mower.
  • Move directional barricades, ropes, and stakes, drive turf vehicles and mowers, and assist in project work, including the construction and seeding of new greens, tees, and fairways.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Previous golf course groundwork experience is preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
