As a Guidewire Certified Tester, your role will involve crafting and executing testing strategies, identifying software defects, and ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement detailed test plans and cases for Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software against specified requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to grasp requirements and create relevant test scenarios.
  • Document and track defects, working closely with development teams for prompt resolution.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including plans, cases, and scripts.
  • Engage in test automation initiatives, supporting the creation of automated test scripts.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts and provide insights on testing methodologies.
  • Stay informed about the latest Guidewire features and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Guidewire Certification in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least [X] years of experience in software testing, particularly with Guidewire applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with Guidewire testing tools and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance business processes.
  • Proficient in developing and executing test cases and utilizing defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting languages is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of additional insurance-related technologies.
  • Experience in performance and security testing.
