Position Summary:
The Senior Patient Services Coordinator will oversee and streamline administrative functions and office operations while fostering a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring optimal organizational efficiency. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to build effective relationships across various departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and possess strong customer service abilities, adept at managing multiple tasks and prioritizing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls and warmly welcome visitors
- Prepare and distribute mail efficiently
- Supervise front office supplies and inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of office spaces and equipment
- Schedule initial and follow-up appointments
- Confirm insurance benefits
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Team as required
- Handle payment collection and processing
- Present financial agreements to patients
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
- Able to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks
- Possess a positive and enthusiastic demeanor
Experience and Education:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an Administrative or Office Coordinator role preferred
- Familiarity with Orthodontics is advantageous
- Experience with Ortho Edge 2 software is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Fluency in English is required
- Excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills are essential
- High finger dexterity for computer-related tasks
Equipment Utilized: Standard office equipment (e.g., computers).
