Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly/Builder to join our team at Oakwood Homes. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the back-end construction activities, interacting with customers, trade partners, municipalities, and other associates to deliver high-quality homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction schedule and ensure timely delivery of homes
  • Coordinate and manage trade partners to deliver high-quality homes while meeting budgets
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure work is completed to Oakwood's specifications
  • Maintain accurate records and coordinate with community teams and support center
  • Perform related projects as assigned and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual, in-person attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
