Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based data solutions that meet business requirements and ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the enterprise-level data strategy and ensure alignment with overall business goals and technical roadmaps.
  • Mentor and lead a team of data engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to design and develop data solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the data engineering practice, focusing on automation, optimization, and innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our systems are future-ready and competitive.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of related experience, including 5+ years developing cloud solutions using data services.
  • Minimum 3+ years of managing data engineering teams.
  • Experience designing and building self-service analytics and big data solutions using cloud technologies.
  • Cloud platform certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's/Advanced Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or related technical field.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methods and the Software development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in Git or Terraform and demonstrated experience in building and effectively utilizing CI/CD practices.
