Are you ready to leverage your engineering expertise to enhance national security? As a pivotal member of our team, you will bridge the gap between customer requirements and technical solutions, ensuring that our systems are tailored to meet mission objectives.
Your Role:
In this leadership position, you will tackle intricate challenges and guide engineering initiatives across various multi-tenant projects. Your role will involve not only the design and development of systems but also their evolution through cutting-edge technological advancements. You will mentor and share your knowledge while expanding your own expertise in diverse fields such as engineering, technology, science, mechanics, and environmental disciplines throughout all phases of capability development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and operational guidance across multiple ongoing projects in Applied Technical Disciplines (ATDs), including Advanced Training, Autonomy & AI, Cyber-Defense, and more.
- Oversee the management of several Technical Development Plans (TDPs) and ensure successful execution aligned with customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Program Management Office (PMO) to facilitate contracting, financial tracking, project scheduling, and risk management.
- Address customer concerns with promptness and accuracy, developing effective resolution strategies and recommending process enhancements.
- Support Engineering Reviews by discussing operational implications and associated risks of decisions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards as outlined in the PMO Quality Management Plan.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in managing projects within the identified Applied Technical Disciplines, covering the entire project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks and identify solutions for program challenges.
- Ability to engage with leaders across industry, government, and academia to translate concepts into actionable technical solutions.
- Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic, high-paced program environment and willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mission areas such as C5ISR, Missile Defense, and Command and Control.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Possession of a TS/SCI clearance is advantageous.
- Advanced degrees in engineering are preferred.
