Job Description

Job Summary: Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our electronic components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect electronic components, PCBs, and assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC and J-STD requirements
  • Measure and record product dimensions to ensure dimensional compliance
  • Review manufacturing build records to ensure accurate documentation
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure general workmanship and technical data package compliance
  • Properly document and control non-conforming product
  • Setup and maintain inspection cells in accordance with 5S principles

Requirements:

  • Electronics inspection experience, including component inspection, PCB assembly, and electromechanical assembly
  • IPC-A-610 inspection certification (current or previously held)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to create accurate records of inspections performed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Skills:

  • Review and acceptance of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports
  • IPC-A-620 inspection certification
  • J-STD-001 Space Addendum inspection certification
