Speech-Language Pathologist

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Southborough, MA. As a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with students and families in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Speech Services: Create and implement speech services that are developmentally appropriate, following frameworks of student IEPs, state curriculum, or common core standards.
- Provide Direct Therapy: Provide direct individual and/or group therapy to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Supervise Speech and Language Assistants: Provide clinical supervision to 1-2 Speech and Language Assistants, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality services to students.
- Administer Evaluations: Administer speech and language evaluations to assess students' communication skills and identify areas for improvement.
- Attend IEP Meetings: Attend IEP meetings to discuss students' progress, goals, and services.
- Conduct Annual Review Meetings: Conduct and chair annual review meetings for students who receive speech/language services, ensuring they are meeting their goals and making progress.
- Provide Inter-Disciplinary Programming: Consult with teachers and other therapeutic staff to provide inter-disciplinary programming that meets the needs of all students.
- Collect and Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and maintain data on all students within the classroom, ensuring that services are effective and meeting students' needs.
- Plan Daily Work Schedule: Plan daily work schedules to meet the requirements for direct service minutes and utilize indirect time in accordance with District guidelines.
- Foster Parent Contact: Facilitate ongoing parent contact and encourage family involvement in students' education and therapy.
- Propose Interventions: Depending on student disabilities, propose interventions or supports that fall outside the realm of instruction, such as feeding or AAC use.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Massachusetts SLP License: Hold a valid Massachusetts SLP license.
- Prior Experience in School Settings: Have prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations.
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Collegial Work Environment: Be able to foster a collegial work environment and collaborate with a team.
- Good Organization and Time Management Skills: Demonstrate good organization and time management skills, ensuring that services are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
- Commitment to Professional Standards: Demonstrate a commitment to standards of the profession, including evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Drive to Help Students and Families: Possess a drive to help students and their families, ensuring that services are tailored to meet their unique needs.
