Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled production worker to join our team at Upstate Farms Cultured Products, LLC. The ideal candidate will have prior material handling experience and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production operators and staff in various production-related tasks
  • Work within established production standards, meeting processing rates and maintaining product quality
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements
  • Ability to advance from entry-level to skilled positions
  • Ability to maintain SQF requirements
  • Available to work any shift, weekends, and holidays

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

The employee will regularly stand, walk, kneel, climb, and use hands to fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, taste, and smell. The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

The employee will work with high-speed equipment and cleaning chemicals. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

The employee will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and risk of electric shock. The employee will wear Company-approved non-skid, steel-toed shoes. The employee will be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold and heat, including steam.

The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud, and hearing protection is required.

Shift: 2nd shift (3-11:30pm) with occasional Saturdays.

Starting Pay: $26.20 USD per hour*

*The hourly rate as indicated in the CBA. The posted pay rate reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components of the total rewards package may include participation in group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, paid time away from work, and paid holidays.
