Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Guide customers in selecting products that meet their specific needs.
• Exhibit a strong commitment to the care and well-being of all animals.
• Handle cash register operations and related transactions.
• Support the store in achieving its sales objectives through various tasks.
• Ensure products are adequately stocked and correctly priced.
• Follow established operational protocols and store policies.
• Address customer inquiries and, when necessary, escalate to management.

Essential Duties:

The ideal candidate will consistently perform the following tasks:

• Ensure the health and welfare of live animals by adhering to established care standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to promote company interests.
• Provide prompt and courteous service, utilizing product knowledge to recommend suitable merchandise.
• Demonstrate expertise in nutrition and membership programs to boost sales.
• Facilitate a seamless guest experience across all service channels.
• Manage point-of-sale transactions, including cash handling and returns.
• Assist in maintaining a well-organized and stocked sales floor.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks to uphold store appearance.
• Support store leadership with opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Participate in inventory management and compliance with safety standards.

Work Environment:

This role primarily takes place indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks. It requires physical activity, including lifting and moving merchandise. Adherence to safety protocols is essential to ensure a secure environment for all.
