We are currently hiring an experienced Mortgage Originator to join our team in San Antonio, working remotely at this time.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting business in compliance with all state and federal regulations, marketing to clients through various sales efforts, and originating loans to close.

Specific Duties:

  • Market to clients through sales efforts, including creating relationships with Real Estate agents, attending industry meetings and home buyer seminars, and follow-up calls to RE agents, Builders, CPAs, and past clientele.
  • Field inbound loan inquiries and work with Loan Coordinator and processing to close the loan.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a NMLS license, a complete understanding of current mortgage laws, guidelines, loan programs, and trends. You should also possess excellent customer service skills, outstanding sales and consulting abilities, and the ability to speak confidently in front of groups.

In addition, you should be able to assist customers in determining which type of mortgage best meets their needs, negotiate terms and conditions of loans with clients, and competently perform mathematical and analytical tasks.

Estimated Salary: $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience and location.
