At ProCare Therapy, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional virtual education services. We're seeking an experienced Virtual Speech Therapist to join our team and contribute to the development of students with communication disorders.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive hourly rate of $40-45 per hour, ensuring a guaranteed weekly income for our selected candidates.
Job Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) to support students' unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups, addressing specific speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create comprehensive educational plans.
- Monitor progress and document student results, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct screenings to identify students who require further evaluations.
- Offer training and resources to educators on effective strategies for supporting students' communication skills.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and develop tailored educational approaches.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Alabama Teaching Certification required.
- Current Alabama SLP license essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders.
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is highly valued.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A stable 1099 position.
