Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive correct and complete orders within service time goals, according to our Customer Service Standards.
  • Product Quality: Prepare and ensure consistent high-quality products are served to customers as described in our Company training materials.
  • Team Management: Display the proper image and follow Company policies, procedures, and standards for conduct as outlined in our Company Orientation and Training Handbook and Policy Manual.
  • Cash Management: Perform cash management responsibilities and ensure compliance by team members with all safety and security procedures as defined in our Company Orientation and Training Handbook.
  • Training and Development: Provide direction and feedback to team members and follow up by coaching/counseling to ensure job duties are performed and all Company standards, procedures, and policies are achieved.
  • Support to General Manager: Support the General Manager by performing tasks associated with achieving and sustaining Company standards in the categories of: staff training, food and paper control, labor hour control, revenue growth, and performance and audit reviews.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete all paperwork and/or computer data entry neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner as directed by the Restaurant Manager, Area Supervisor, and/or Executive Management.
  • Restaurant Operations: Follow all procedures associated with opening, operating, and/or closing the restaurant.

Requirements:

  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift and move 55 pounds, reach and move items from as high as 6 feet and as low as 6 inches off the ground, and apply pressure to cut through products and/or clean equipment/utensils.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members, including reading, speaking, hearing, writing, and understanding directions, instructions, and product specifications.
  • Mathematical Skills: The ability to use mathematical skills to compute sales totals, percentages, inventory usage, food orders, employee work schedules, cash handling results, and projected business needs.
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and previous experience in restaurants, retail, or a position involving customer contacts.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal relations skills, dependability, hard work, and the ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations.
  • Certifications: 100% CARDS certified, interviewed and recommended for promotion by an Area Supervisor, successfully completed the Company Assistant Manager Training Plan, and passed the solo open and close shift evaluations.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license from the state of residence with a driving record maintained within company guidelines.
