Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of construction projects for our high-end residential developments in Houston.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion
  • Making on-the-spot decisions to solve problems efficiently and effectively
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects and supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Negotiate with contractors to secure reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and provide guidance to achieve top-quality workmanship
  • Meet with experts during different phases of the build, including realtors, designers, architects, and engineers
  • Provide thorough final orientations for each project and maintain ownership of successes and mistakes

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction management or related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Technical building knowledge in regards to foundation, frame, finishes, procedures, etc
