Electronics Control Systems Technician

Position Summary:
The Electronics Control Systems Technician plays a crucial role in the installation, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic instruments and control systems. This position is essential for ensuring that all electronic devices function efficiently and accurately, thereby supporting the operational and production processes.
Core Responsibilities:
Installation and Configuration:
- Install and set up electronic instruments and control systems according to manufacturer guidelines and organizational standards.
- Conduct calibration and testing of instruments to verify their proper operation.
Technical Assistance:
- Offer technical support and advice to clients regarding electronic instruments and control systems.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new instrumentation systems and enhancements.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Carry out safety inspections and risk assessments of electronic instruments and systems.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of all installation, programming, and testing activities.
- Generate reports on instrument performance, testing schedules, and incident analyses.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate degree in Electronics, Instrumentation Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISA Certified Control Systems Technician) are advantageous.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in programming electronic instrumentation and wiring control systems.
- Hands-on experience with calibration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of instruments.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong technical proficiency in wiring and programming electronics and instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Compensation:
$25-$30 per hour
