LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Convenient Care Plus

Geisinger Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our ConvenientCare+ team. As an LPN, you will provide primary clinical support to our providers, patients, and their families, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions. You will also be responsible for obtaining and documenting patient medical history, vital signs, and providing basic medical data for our providers.
Job Duties- Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and provide basic medical data for providers.
- Provide direct clinical care as directed by providers.
- Assist providers in performance of minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork to expedite laboratory studies.
- Administer medications and vaccines, including intradermal and skin testing, under the direction of a provider and per scope of practice.
- Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between cases, ensuring required levels of asepsis, availability of appropriate instruments and equipment, and preparation of patient.
- This position qualifies for a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over two years.
- The Clinic is open M-F 8:45 AM to 8:15 PM, with weekend hours (S/S) 7:45 AM to 6:15 PM.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
- Holidays: Closed major holidays.
- Travel: Limited for potential coverage in another clinic.

- Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year-Nursing experience.
