Job Summary:
This is a full-time opportunity for a registered nurse with a minimum of one year of experience in nephrology or acute care. As an Acute Inpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment in a hospital setting. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, develop treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vascular access procedures, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families on dialysis treatment, nutrition, and lifestyle management
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, lab results, and medication administration
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a current RN license in your state, at least one year of experience in nephrology or acute care, and a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices. Preferred qualifications include certification in nephrology nursing, ACLS, and BLS CPR recognition.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
