Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Attending Physician to serve as Medical Director for our skilled nursing facilities. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, lead administrative and quality initiatives, and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage resident care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical direction for skilled nursing facilities, including attending quality assurance and process improvement meetings
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day-to-day resident care
  • Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses
  • Document patient care in our proprietary electronic health record system
  • Participate in Theoria's Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, RPM, and other medical quality initiatives
Requirements
  • Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
  • Experience as a Medical Director or in a similar leadership role
  • Ability to supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physician assistants
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other medical tools
