Key Responsibilities- Prepare and administer anesthetics according to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and document anesthesia notes in patient records.
- Review medical history, evaluate patients, and determine the most appropriate methods of anesthesia.
- Perform or evaluate diagnostic tests, such as radiographs and electrocardiograms.
- Monitor patient vital signs to ensure safety and well-being.
- Inform physicians of patient conditions during anesthesia.
- Manage patients' airway or pulmonary status using various techniques.
- Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia and provide immediate post-operative care.
- Develop anesthesia care plans and adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures.
- Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
