We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at the University of Mississippi. The successful candidate will have expertise in asphalt binder and other infrastructure materials, with a strong background in research and development.
Key Responsibilities- Design, fabricate, and characterize different infrastructure materials, including asphalt binder and cement, that may incorporate graphene and other low-dimensional materials.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research projects.
- Prepare research results and write grant reports, as well as manuscripts for publication.
- Assist with grant writing and proposal development.
A Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is required. The successful candidate should have a strong experimental background and a track record of successful research. Good communication skills are also essential.
