POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary duty of the Beverage Server is to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by serving a variety of beverages to patrons, contributing to a memorable experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Warmly greets and welcomes all guests in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Delivers prompt cocktail service with a courteous attitude.
3. Maintains cleanliness in assigned areas, ensuring all glasses and bottles are cleared away.
4. Actively seeks out service opportunities to enhance guest experience.
5. Addresses and resolves guest complaints effectively.
6. Provides knowledgeable answers to guest inquiries regarding property events and attractions.
7. Completes all side work at the designated station, including stocking supplies such as coffee, glasses, and condiments.
8. Ensures rapid beverage service (20 minutes or less round time) to casino guests, skillfully carrying full trays.
9. Takes drink orders, communicates effectively with bartenders, assists in drink preparation, and serves beverages to guests.
10. Keeps workstation clean and well-stocked.
11. Handles monetary transactions according to established procedures.
12. Monitors guest alcohol consumption and intervenes as necessary, following guidelines.
13. Acts as a goodwill ambassador during work and at public relations events; may appear in promotional materials.
14. Promotes casino events and programs actively.
15. Collaborates closely with the Total Rewards Center to encourage new card sign-ups.
16. Works harmoniously with fellow staff, including beverage servers, bartenders, bar backs, and supervisors.
17. Provides personalized service, using guests' names when appropriate.
18. Resolves service issues in accordance with established guidelines.
19. Adheres to attendance policies and complies with regulatory, departmental, and company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a high-volume cocktail service environment.
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a role focused on direct guest interaction is required.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to initiate and engage in professional and friendly conversations.
  • Must present a polished and approachable appearance to guests.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance.
  • Knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients is required.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including potential overtime.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires continuous standing and walking with a tray weighing up to 20 lbs throughout the shift.
Must be able to lift and carry 20 lbs.
Ability to work in high-temperature environments during peak seasons.
Must be able to remain standing for the duration of the shift.
Ability to access service areas for beverage orders.
Must effectively communicate in a loud environment.
Ability to stoop, bend, and reach as needed.
Manual dexterity is required for taking orders and preparing drinks.
Must be able to listen and respond to visual and auditory cues.
Ability to manage the demands of multiple customers simultaneously.
