Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Communicate and follow up with internal staff and management regarding client billing, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of any issues.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Assist with the timely and accurate billing of clients, including reviewing contracts, calculating renewal totals, and verifying third-party costs.
  • Client Inquiries: Respond to client inquiries regarding billing, providing clear and concise information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with our division's and company's accounting policies and practices, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Revenue Recognition: Schedule and manage revenue recognition, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenue.
  • Monthly Reconciliation: Complete monthly reconciliation reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with the AR divisions of vendors, verifying costs and requesting quotes as needed.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform general administrative duties, including filing and handling customer refunds.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant business experience, preferably in accounting or a related field.
  • Education: Associate degree, major in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, highly motivated, ability to take initiative, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), proficient computer skills including Excel and Word, and a general understanding of accounting principles.
  • NetSuite Experience: NetSuite experience a plus, but not required.
