The Medication Technician/C.N.A will assist licensed nursing staff by preparing and administering daily medications as ordered by the physician. This role requires strong communication and documentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
- Document patient information and medication administration in the electronic health record
- Respond to resident requests and other direct care duties as assigned
- Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Certification by the state of Arkansas as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Successful completion of state-approved Medication Administration and hold medication aide certification
- Minimum of one year of healthcare industry experience desired
