Opportunity Overview

Sampson Regional Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Clinton, NC, is seeking an experienced board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to join its esteemed team. As a solo provider, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on compassion and quality.

This is a nights only OR mixed days/nights position with a required schedule of 12-14 shifts per month. You will be expected to act as the sole physician covering the Emergency Department, with shift times ranging from 7A-7P and/or 7P - 7A.

  • Strong air and ground support for immediate patient transfers
  • Ability to live in close proximity to Raleigh or Wilmington, NC

In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.

About Our Facility

Sampson Regional Medical Center has served its community since 1950 and is now one of only a handful of independent, community-based hospitals remaining in North Carolina. The healthcare facility serves as an academic training center for medical students, interns, and residents. Accredited by The Joint Commission, the system offers a range of medical services, including acute care, outpatient surgery, emergency and critical care, and women's health and children's services. Specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics & gynecology, and urology. The system provides valuable outpatient services, such as physical therapy and diagnostic imaging in state-of-the-art centers, and a network of physician practices that include primary care, women's health, general surgery, pain management, and urgent care.
