Overview: As a Culinary Operations Manager, you will oversee kitchen activities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all staff members. Your role will involve directing meal preparation in line with corporate standards and guidelines. This position is ideal for a dynamic and innovative culinary expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement regular and customized menus following established protocols.
  • Adhere to standardized recipes and presentation standards, completing daily production and waste logs.
  • Train kitchen personnel in food preparation, safe handling, and equipment operation, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Manage inventory of food and non-food supplies, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the use of leftover food products, in line with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations through regular audits.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
  • Experience in high-volume food service operations is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience as a chef is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of food trends, production, sanitation, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.
