Job Summary:
As a Primary Care Specialist at Next Level Urgent Care LLC, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in need of urgent medical attention. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, and your ability to work collaboratively with other medical professionals will be essential in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary and episodic care to patients, independently and in collaboration with other medical professionals.
- Function as a leading member of the clinical team, maintaining patient flow and maximizing the delivery of quality care and customer service.
- Emphasize health promotion and/or disease prevention through patient education and coordination of care.
- Follow regulations and guidelines for writing prescriptions.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Valid Texas Medical License.
- Outstanding knowledge of medications, side effects, and contraindications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clinical experience in an emergency, urgent care, or ambulatory clinic setting preferred.
Environmental and Physical Requirements:
Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently, have cognitive skills for math, reading, filing, and sterile technique skills. Communication skills to deal well with employees, patients, and families. Vision for near, mid-range, far, and accommodation. Hearing for low, medium, and high pitch. Job requires physical ability for long-term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaching above head and below waist. Job risks include exposure to blood and body fluids (high), contact with chemicals, lifting of pounds, and exposure to infectious disease.
