Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at Delta-T Group Inc. in the North Hills area. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to high-risk children and youth with behavioral and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and supervision to youth in foster care homes, under the direction of caregivers or foster parents.
  • Engage with youth, assist with schoolwork, and encourage open communication about their interests and concerns.
  • Redirect negative behaviors and provide a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans for each youth.
Requirements
  • Experience working with at-risk individuals, either paid or unpaid.
  • Current medical and health documents, including physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification.
  • High School diploma or higher.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
