Job Description

JK Executive Strategies, LLC is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Project Director. This position will be responsible for the management of multiple construction projects within the University Facilities Design and Construction Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including University leadership, contractors, and project team members.
  • Ensure compliance with University policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and University leadership.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
