Key Responsibilities:
What you will be doing:
- Under supervision, perform background checks related to potential employee misconduct. Gather pertinent information and relevant facts concerning misconduct reports and document findings, conducting further research as necessary.
- Conduct thorough investigations into the personal and professional histories of driver applicants.
- Verify educational qualifications, employment records, credit histories, and personal references as instructed.
- Investigate any criminal history, arrests, convictions, or pending charges to ensure that the individual does not pose a risk to the workplace or company.
- Maintain precise records and documentation of all interviews while ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide recommendations regarding new hires when requested.
- Respond appropriately to all incoming inquiries.
- Collaborate with other security units and/or designated department personnel as required.
- Analyze records resulting from background investigations.
- Monitor request systems weekly for new orders and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of applicable regulatory and legislative requirements concerning background screening to ensure company compliance.
- Represent the company in a confidential, ethical, and professional manner in all interactions.
- Proactively assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
Qualifications:
What you need to bring:
- 1+ year of experience in customer service or a related field is required.
- Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- A quick learner is preferred.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly
