Key Responsibilities:

What you will be doing:


  • Under supervision, perform background checks related to potential employee misconduct. Gather pertinent information and relevant facts concerning misconduct reports and document findings, conducting further research as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into the personal and professional histories of driver applicants.
  • Verify educational qualifications, employment records, credit histories, and personal references as instructed.
  • Investigate any criminal history, arrests, convictions, or pending charges to ensure that the individual does not pose a risk to the workplace or company.
  • Maintain precise records and documentation of all interviews while ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Provide recommendations regarding new hires when requested.
  • Respond appropriately to all incoming inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other security units and/or designated department personnel as required.
  • Analyze records resulting from background investigations.
  • Monitor request systems weekly for new orders and follow up on outstanding orders.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of applicable regulatory and legislative requirements concerning background screening to ensure company compliance.
  • Represent the company in a confidential, ethical, and professional manner in all interactions.
  • Proactively assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications:

What you need to bring:

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service or a related field is required.
  • Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • A quick learner is preferred.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly
