Position Overview:

As a Culinary Service Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience for our Residents at American House Senior Living Communities. Work Schedule:
Total hours per week: 30 hours

Shift: 11:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Days:
Varies, including alternating weekends

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to our Residents, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and fulfilling.
  • Take and fulfill meal orders, serving food and beverages with care and attention.
  • Prepare dining areas, including setting up and decorating tables for mealtimes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining environment, including menus and kitchen areas.
  • Assist in the preparation of beverages, snacks, and other culinary items for service.
  • Transport used dishes and waste to designated collection areas.
  • Engage with Residents, remembering their names, preferences, and dietary needs.
  • Support special events and catering functions throughout the community.
  • Complete daily tasks as assigned by the Culinary Director or Executive Director.

Qualifications:
  • A genuine desire to positively impact the lives of others through exceptional service.
  • Ambition to build meaningful relationships with Residents.
  • No prior experience is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Minimum age requirement: 16 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with seniors or in a customer service role.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a commercial dining setting is advantageous.
