Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Porter to join our team at Related Company. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our luxury rental apartments.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, hallways, elevators, common areas, and restrooms, including mopping, sweeping, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors, dusting, vacuuming, and garbage removal.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Contribute to the overall upkeep of the buildings and grounds, including snow removal and landscaping.
  • Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

Compensation
  • $19-$19.50 per hour.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of prior janitor, cleaner, or porter experience.
  • Must be reliable and have experience working with cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be a team player and able to work with little supervision.
  • Excellent time management skills and work ethic required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for an 8-hour shift.
  • Light maintenance knowledge is a plus.
