Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Materials and Processes Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting various metallic materials engineering testing to develop material & processing to meet stringent requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under senior technical leader guidance, develop and refine material and process requirements across multiple programs and author materials and processing specifications.
  • Develop and review process specifications, part drawings, and other documents, including supplier auditing.
  • Interact with stakeholders in Manufacturing, Engineering, and other departments for various initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET, or equivalent, accredited institution with a concentration in a relevant metallic materials discipline.
  • 8 years aerospace working experience.
  • Familiarity with aerospace metallic materials, such as Aluminum, CRES, Titanium, etc and processes.
  • Need experience with Composite Materials.
  • Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
    • Familiar with metallic material characterization.
    • Extensive Experience with metallic material processing, especially vendor and industry auditing.
    • Familiar with aerospace fasteners.
