Position Overview
The Mass General Brigham is seeking a proactive and collaborative Research Program Manager to oversee the operational aspects of research initiatives focused on burn rehabilitation. This role will be instrumental in supporting the research agenda and ensuring effective communication among various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
The Research Program Manager will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and nurturing professional relationships with clinicians and staff from partner institutions.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for external partners and organizations involved in burn survivor advocacy.
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of grant proposals, including budget planning and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborating with peers from other research institutions to enhance knowledge dissemination and planning for educational events.
  • Training and supervising research coordinators and interns to ensure the successful execution of clinical studies.
  • Conducting regular meetings with study teams to review project management, recruitment strategies, and address any challenges.
  • Ensuring accurate data collection and compliance with research protocols in collaboration with the National Data and Statistical Center.
  • Coordinating the development of multimedia educational materials and maintaining the program's online presence.
  • Managing regulatory documentation and ensuring adherence to ethical standards in human subjects research.
  • Preparing reports for funding agencies and overseeing financial management related to research activities.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in research project management.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to adapt to new software tools.
