Medical Donor Screener

We are seeking a Medical Donor Screener to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Medical Donor Screener, you will be responsible for greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting a series of registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
The estimated salary for this role is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Our team members enjoy a fast-paced environment with frequent opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists qualified donors in completing the screening process, including assessing self-administered health history and performing health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature.
- Educates new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma, including explaining the screening process, health screening tests performed, appointment system, donation fees, center policies, proper nutrition, and other information pertinent to the donor.
- Maintains alertness and awareness to any reaction by a donor may have during or after the pheresis process and notifies appropriate staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
- Able to perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
