Physician - Primary Care Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION team as a Primary Care Physician. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to our patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, collaborative care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including history and physicals, medication management, and treatment planning.
- Function as a leader in the PACT approach, delivering care that emphasizes a team-based approach to healthcare.
- Utilize registries and other tools to identify and intervene with individual patients and cohorts.
- Ensure appropriate evaluation and access for patients assigned to your panel.
- Participate in team performance improvement and sustainment activities to optimize team efficiency and care delivery.
- United States citizenship or non-citizenship with a valid work visa.
- Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
