The Phillips 66 Marketing division is responsible for the distribution, sale, and marketing of gasoline, diesel, aviation, and renewable fuels across the United States and Europe. Upon receiving a full-time position with Phillips 66, you will participate in KATALYST, a premier energy commodity supply and trading development initiative for market-savvy university graduates. KATALYST participants undergo a brief yet dynamic immersion into the Phillips 66 energy value chain, followed by two targeted roles aimed at gaining knowledge, influencing the business, and fostering relationships that will support a rewarding career. Participants will also benefit from networking opportunities, career coaching, and exposure to senior leadership.
The KATALYST program is founded on the principle that Knowledge combined with Application leads to career Transformation. The KATALYST curriculum emphasizes our core businesses and markets, including: Asset tours; Case studies; Engaging discussions and presentations with subject matter experts; Focused analytical assignments; Networking opportunities with key management; Presentation opportunities to business leaders.
Upon completing the immersion segment of the program, KATALYST participants will be assigned to their first role within the Marketing organization. The duration of assignments is contingent upon business needs and individual performance. These assignments provide experiential learning, development opportunities, networking, career coaching, and management exposure, while enhancing professional and market acumen. Participants acquire transferable skills applicable to our Marketing, Lubricants, Specialties, Value Chain and Optimization, and Risk sectors, paving the way for an exciting career throughout the Phillips 66 energy value chain. The program aims to identify and guide high-performing individuals toward their optimal career paths.

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics/Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or pursuing a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or MBA
- Graduation date prior to specified deadlines
- Available to work at the Houston headquarters
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a related field
- Strong analytical capabilities
