Job DescriptionAs a Billing Assistant at Hedy Holmes Staffing Services, you will play a vital role in supporting our billing department. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring accurate invoicing, managing billing records, and assisting with customer inquiries related to billing issues.

You will work closely with the rest of the billing staff in data entry, breakdown, and mail out of billing, stamping, and scanning, as well as any additional needs. We expect you to work efficiently to complete billing in a timely manner and contribute to the team's efforts by completing high-quality work in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  2. Check company-provided email regularly and respond accordingly.
  3. Maintain the filing system, reorganizing it when necessary.
  4. Assist other members of the office team proactively.
  5. Work with billing staff in data entry, breakdown, and mail out of billing, stamping, and scanning.
  6. Work efficiently to complete billing tasks.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
  • Experience in billing or accounts receivable.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

We estimate this role comes with a salary range of $20-$22 per hour, considering the location and industry standards.
