Anesthesiologist - Gynecology Specialist

HerMD is seeking a skilled and compassionate anesthesiologist to join our team for in-office gynecology procedures at our clinic in Millburn, NJ. As a physician-founded practice, we understand the challenges medical providers experience daily. • Conduct comprehensive preoperative evaluations to assess the suitability of patients for anesthesia, identify potential risks, and develop tailored anesthesia plans.
• Administer anesthesia, including sedation and pain management techniques, customized to each patient's specific needs and procedure requirements.
• Continuously monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring vital signs and oxygenation levels remain within safe limits. Respond promptly to changes or complications.
• Administer medications, maintain accurate records of drug administration, and ensure patient comfort during and after procedures.
• Skillfully manage patients' airway and ventilation while minimizing risks and complications.
• Be prepared to respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies during procedures.
• Collaborate closely with gynecologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, anesthesia plans, intraoperative management, and post-procedure recovery, following legal and ethical guidelines.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in anesthesia techniques and patient safety standards within gynecology and women's healthcare.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care and outcomes.

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified in Anesthesiology.
• Valid medical license to practice medicine in New Jersey.
• Experience in providing anesthesia for gynecological procedures, particularly in an office-based setting.
• In-depth knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, patient monitoring, airway management, and emergency response.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Patient-centric approach, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
