Radiology Equipment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, calibrations, and safety evaluations on imaging apparatus
- Diagnose and replace faulty components as necessary
- Support the training of fellow technicians
- Work closely with equipment users to identify and rectify issues
- Manage emergency on-call responsibilities
- Procure repair components while adhering to budget constraints
- Maintain comprehensive Quality Assurance documentation and reports
- Record all actions related to assets
- Capable of executing advanced biomedical technician functions
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology or a related discipline
- At least five years of experience in the repair of radiology equipment
- In-depth knowledge of various imaging technologies
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties
- Act as a technical resource for colleagues in specialized areas
