About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hospice Director of Healthcare Services / RN to oversee our hospice care program and ensure the highest quality of care to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of hospice care to patients and their families, ensuring the highest quality of care in accordance with home health and hospice regulations and standards.
  • Ensure hospice staff levels are sufficient to meet the needs of patients and families.
  • Recruit, hire, orient, train and oversee hospice staff providing patient and family care.
  • Assist Hospice Administrator in the preparation and management of budgets and financial reports.
  • Evaluate patient care and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies, equipment and medication to meet patient needs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in Minnesota.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in hospice.
  • At least 2 years of hospice or home health experience managing caregivers.
  • CPR certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of state/federal home health and hospice laws and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
