About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Product Owner to join our Front-to-Back Business Strategy team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting integration services to ensure seamless use of our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support integration services to ensure clients' seamless use of our product offerings
  • Utilize strong transaction data mapping analysis skills and business systems knowledge to analyze inbound and outbound data requirements
  • Document and present data mappings to and from source systems involved in the solution
  • Support testing activities and immediate post-production transitions with the support of test plan development and test scripts
  • Liaise with stakeholders to establish and document implementation requirements and develop use cases to document user requirements and functional specifications
  • Analyze requirements on an ongoing basis to ensure project expectations are aligned
  • Document and analyze any derivation, workflow, and/or enrichment required for the project/solution
  • Compile, interpret, and analyze information related to complex and intricate business/system processing
  • Liaise between business users and various information technology development and testing teams
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of the financial service industry and SQL/database query skills in the performance of assigned job duties
Requirements
  • Strong experience with technologies that relate to product implementation and client interaction
  • Knowledge of existing State Street organizational constructs and teams and an understanding of middle and back office systems, functions, and services supported at State Street
  • Experience as a Business Analyst on medium to large-scale projects
  • Expertise in transaction messaging protocols and format, XML, FIX, SWIFT, etc.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of SDLC & Agile Methodology and tools (i.e. JIRA, Kibana dashboard)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, Project, and Visio
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, or a related field or its equivalent; plus 5 years of experience in Business Analysis or related experience
  • Alternatively, Master's degree in Finance, Analytics, or a related field or its equivalent; plus 3 years of experience in Business Analysis or related experience

Salary Range

$100,000 - $167,500 Annual
